Hi Phillipa,
I wish this was an isolated incident. This is not an isolated incident. A few months ago I got a call on the day of an interview that they hired someone else. I've been told I'm the number one candidate and I never hear back.
I am trying to tell myself it's because I don't have legal experience. Someone who did got the job, which is why I didn't, but this law firm called me. They saw my resume online and asked to interview me. Monday they called and scheduled the second interview. Thursday they rejected me.
I have two headhunters, that haven't gotten me any interviews. I try to convince myself that it's because I lack legal experience, but something tells me that paralegals with no legal experience of any type are a useless commodity.
Damn it I'm crying again at hell job.
