I guess I was focusing more on the Protein supplements, where you take loads of protein in one form or another, about an hour before you workout...suppposedly it helps increase the amount of muscless mass that's built. Also energy bars or drinks that, I assume, allow you to run farther and harder to burn more calories that way.
