I have found a select few to be helpful. Supposedly they all have some purpose, but there is a lot of BS products out there.. IMO..
I use Creatine Monohydrate, and Soy Isolate Protien Powder; I buy both from GNC. I use them to increase my lifting performance, as well as to gain weight. When I first started using these I gained about 15 pounds within the first month. The benefits have tapered off somewhat, but I still am slowing increasing my weight, reps, and running distance. I suspect the protien and Creatine are still helping, but nothing like the initial gains you get. I have heard some stuff about 'cycling' these specific supplements to increase gains, but for now I am fairly satisfied. Good luck!
