I don't know Phillipa - your T sounded ok to me. Many T's don't follow through on asking about homework because they don't want the client to feel bad if they didn't do it. It might be more helpful to you to ask her to ask. What's important is that YOU know whether you did it or not. If you're finding yourself not able to accomplish what she gives as homework and it bothers you, then that would be something that in my opinion would be your responsibility to bring up and discuss. But I hear that you are frustrated with your lack of progress. Unfortunately, therapy isn't a process where you typically see immediate results, and things sometimes have to get worse before they get better (at least in my experience).
