i have to say, with impressed magnesium is good at relaxation. I take higher doses, like around 1000-2000mg and it defeintly works as a natural anti-anxiety and good for the nerves. If you want to have help over the counter for anxiety - magnesium is a good recommedation. Take it at higher doses, that's usally when it produces a calming effect. The calming effect is not like benzos, its more like lithium but for the nerves

yeah your right, the recommended dose is 450mg daily. I have 500mg magnesium capsules, which is a bit above, but i realized if i take 2-4 of them, the calming effect is good. But this is just me, because if someone else took that much, you can't really overdose too much on magnesium, but i researcched and they said the max should be 2000mg daily. That's the absolute maximumm.
But, may even want to try it, magesiuem at certain doses causes relief of anxiety in the nerves. It's a good substance, even a medication since lithium is the same periodicc mineral. It's ... kinda similar to taking lithium, but for the nerves, instead of mood stablization. But yeah, wreckless use of taking something definetly can disturb balance. but all reseason posted was to let know that it is good for anxiety

>No, in the periodic table, magnesium is in the same period (row) as sodium (Na), and in the same group (column) as calcium (Ca).

>There was a period in my life where I used a lot of magnesium, as I liked the taste of the drink produced from the effervescent tablets. One day, it seemed that I got too much. If I recall correctly, I got an altered taste and taking calcium seemed to help.

yeah, i'm not specialized at all in chemistry, i just knew that lithium, magnesium, and xenon have effects on nerves. This was a 'expereince' not chemistry or how they work. Defiently don't know, i have no knowedge aboutt their mechanism of action or their structure. But thanks for response. You know, xenon has psychoactive effects, they were testing it for panic disorder

i don't know at all how many substances and their mechanism of action work. I only have superficial knowedge

i'm starting to depend on magnesium, i go through the day, my anxiety starts up, get the sting feeling, then finally i take my dose of magnesium, a large dose, and then nerves calm down. I shouldnt be taking supra-dosing of it, but when i take 2000mg of magnesium, it's miracle with relieving part of anxiety in nerve. It really does have nerve-promoting effects, in a natural way. I can feel my nerves stablize after i take a large dose of magnesium. But this is not, the medical doseage of think is below a 1000mg. I've had to take more than 1000mg to get anxiety, somewhat manageable. It's a natural alternative. But i don't want to depend on it, espcially at higher doses. I feel it stablize nerve pathways, it's nice.

It helps restless legs and headaches. I've also noticed that it "smooths" out my provigil so I don't have rough withdrawals during the day.
