oh, man, look at all these contrasting views on this medication! i don't know what i should do...i suppose i will continue to take the effexor(as i am stil on 1 mg xanax, she hasn't started to wein me off of it yet) and as for the adderal, i'm starting at a low dose of 20mg tomorrow...(20 is very low for me b/c i used to buy 40 mg xr pills all the time).
i was unable to stay with the methylphenidate b/c it gave me like a 20 min boost which was more physical then mental, and i completely crashed after each dose--hence, addererall.and HOLY SHIT that article about serotonin syndrome was really fucking scary...thank you so much for posting that, i WILL be very very ccareful with it and maybe even call my psych??i'm wondering if it's normal in most cases to attain SS thru the use of adderall and effexor....
i do find, however, that whenever i take adderall(usually for papers n studying), i don't get diahrea, but i do shit like a motherfucker!(<~~anyone else get this!?)...it has the tendancy to make me SLIGHTLY borderline naucious, and i havve been reading that effexor's greatest side effect is nausia...so maybe i shouldn't take the adderall till next week when my body gets used to the effexor.
