I was about to mention that arachondic acid signalling is often high in melancholic depression, and that certain antidepressant agents are thought to work via supression of these pathways.

Another consideration is that DHA can increase anandamide levels.

Chocolate contains anandamide reuptake inhibiting substances.

Although, you don't want anandamide too high as it can be highly neurotoxic.
