Is DXM safe to use with SSRIs?

Hello

I've never abused any drug, legal or illegal before. I don't even drink alcohol and I've never smoked tobacco...although I have tried pot two times. Anyways, I'm curious about hallucinations. I want to experiment a little with psychedelics. Since I have no way to get something safer to use like LSD, I'm thinking of using DXM (dextromethorphan hydrobromide). Does anyone know if the risks for serotonin syndrome are significant? I'm taking 30mg of citalopram (Celexa). How dangerous would it be for me to say, reach the 3rd plateau or something with DXM? Also, I'm thinking of extracting the DXM from DXM + guaifenesin preparations. I'm thinking of using a dual phase acid base extraction. Would the end product be ok to ingest?
