Hi,
Right now I am a mess, but I googled Valium vs Librium and it brought me here to the 2004 archives. Long story short, not feeling well at all, I was put on Librium and Suboxone when I went into rehab last year. It was the most stable I had ever been in my life, I was happy and also far away from a family of origin that is VERY toxic. When I moved back into the bad situation I started having chest pains. Since Jan., I have been switched from Librium to Ativan to Klonopin and now tonight, my psychiatrist switched me to Valium 5mg.
Can someone please shed some light for me about the difference between Librium and Valium? Librium worked the best for me and I've been on all the benzos, so I am hoping that Valium does similar? I suffer from muscle spasms and IBS/spastic colon as well. The anxiety is getting severe but I am also under a tremendous amount of stress too. How can I decrease the stress? I'm going to try a bath here in a few.
Also - I read there were deaths reported with concurrent use of Suboxone and benzos, which has me concerned considering my heart health has deteriorated the last year.
